Love Reading; the UK’s leading book recommendation websites.
No Place to Hide has an excellent plot that kept me hooked and unsure of who did what right to the very end.
The start of a trilogy featuring the surgeon, Daniel Kendrick. In this first book Daniel’s life is far from perfect, trying to come to terms with his daughter’s murder, with his marriage and his career both on the verge of collapse. Then his wife disappears, and Daniel is a suspect. As the tension builds he needs to start his own investigation to find her before time runs out.
I found this book to be exceptionally well written and researched with very believable characters and storyline. It gave me goose bumps and I couldn’t put it down. I would describe No Place to Hide as a proper page turner. I think it’s one of the best books I have read in a long time and I can’t wait for the next book in the trilogy.

A New To Me Author that is amazing!

This book grabs the readers attention right from the very start and never lets it go! The reader frantically turns the pages alternating between wanting to know how the book ends and not wanting the book to end. The author throws in some medical terms and some British sayings that the American reader isn't 100% sure of, but it still works for some reason.
Daniel is mourning the loss of his daughter, perhaps his career when another tragedy strikes and police are convinced that he is the cause of it. Will he be able to save his wife? His career? His Sanity? The author takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions and leaves them on the edge of their seat wondering what is going to happen next!
This is a must read and a must read now! Don't hesitate to add it to your TBR list and move it straight to the top!! I am already looking forward to the next book by this author and I can't wait to see what they do next!

This story builds nicely with twists and turns along the way, with a satisfying ending. The characters portrayed were believable and the detail was on point with regards to the medical facts.
Look forward to the second installment.

Classic British Thriller

First get the right book! There is more than one book of this title- this however is a gem in the theme of British thrillers.
Written by someone who knows altered persona, the plot is cleverly woven, and is an improved story akin to ‘ The Fugitive’ but more believable!
Medical facts are well woven through the narrative- I recommend this to any Golden Dagger fans Out there.

Okay, so what we have here is a long, slow burn that continually builds your frustration and hatred toward the antagonist ... but that payoff at the end is worth it. The book if full of authentic medical terms and such, well worded and used thanks to the author's history in the medical profession. As an American reader, I found a lot of the references and quite a bit of the phrasing very interesting. Anyhoo, I liked it. I say, give it a try.

Not my usual genre but this book caught my imagination. I certainly didn't see the ending coming although I thought I was on the case for a while.
The author evidently has considerable insight and medical knowledge which makes the narrative believable and the ability to build suspense incrementally to keep the reader hooked.
I can't begin to imagine where the next book will lead ..... Watch this space 👍
